I don't know the ski area, which ski-lifts pass do I need? 
There are two kinds of passes in the station. One that gives access to the whole ski resort and one that only gives access to the lower part of it (travelator).
According to your type of course, a ski-lifts pass is necessary.
The price of the pass is never included in the price of the course. You can book it in advance online on the site of the resort www.lesangles.com
N.B. : Take an ID picture with you if you need a pass for more than one day.

How can I book my courses
There are three ways to book in advance:
1/ Online : for group courses and « formule club » only 
2/ Mail : for « formule club », private courses, private group courses, public group courses.
3/ Phone: for « formule club », private courses, private group courses, public group courses.

Is it alright to book without payment? 
No, we will not send you the cards without your payment

Can I book my courses by email ? 
No.

Are online sales secured? I am afraid of sending my bank card details over the internet...
Your bank details are processed via La Banque Populaire's secure online payments system. This is the ESF's official banker and you can trust them as much as we do!

When will payment leave my account?
The day of your online booking or for postal bookings, the day your lesson card is printed

How can I pay at the ESF? 
With a banker’s card, cheque, banker's draft in €uros, chèques vacances (sent by recorded delivery). Cash payments may be made at the ESF office.

Must I come and get my course card at the ESF des Angles ? 

If you have booked online you can get your card at one of our sale points (bring along the booking receipt).
If you have booked by phone or by email, the cards will be sent directly at your place.

What is the Club des Piou Piou  and the Club des Castors?
Club des Piou-Piou : It’s a kinder garden or snow garden for kids between 3 and 5 years old.
Club des Castors : It’s a club for kids starting at 5 years old up to the second star level.
These two options include group courses in skiing, inside and outside games (it depends of the weather). Kids can have their meal (provided by the parents) on site
For the younger, the courses are held in a secure kinder garden with the exclusive use of the ESF les Angles.

What are the activities for a 3 years old kid ? 

For them , group courses are appropriate to discover step-by-step the mountain and the fun of skiing.

I will not be able to come to Les Angles but I have already booked an paid my courses.. Can I be reimbursed? 

Yes, if you have bought online cancelation insurance.
If you have booked by mail, by phone or at the office and you have canceled the courses at least 48 hours in advance.. You must send us by registered mail a written proof.

Will my kid be able to follow a full day course? 

It depends of his physical skills and sporting habits.
Don’t forget that Les Angles is in high altitude and that the climate is cold in winter. 
Respect the rhythm of your kid.. it is his holidays and he is here to get some fun through winter sports. Becoming a champion is not the goal!

In the middle of the week, my kid or myself are getting bored of skiing, Can I get my money back? 

No 
If you are not sure about you ability or your taste, you should book a « trial » course on Sunday or Monday. If afterwards you feel like carrying on , it may be possible (if there is still room)  to join a normal course. You will only pay the difference between the two courses.

Will there be snow during my stay ? 

Usually, no problem. the resort is fitted with snow canons and the ESF works hard to complete its mission to provide you with the best environment.

The weather looks terrible… what about my course? 

It’s your call.. In any case, your instructor will be waiting for you at the meeting point
Make plan for the proper clothing and mask. The course will not be postponed nor reimbursed.

Will I be provided with proper gear ? 

No, you must get your own. 
You can get information at the ski shops of the resort and book your gear in advance (see. Partners on our web site)

Is access to the ski-lifts compulsory and free? 

For some courses of the ESF les Angles, the pass is not compulsory such as kids between 3 and 5 years old at the snow garden, the first hours of group courses at the flocon level or the first hours of skiing in private courses of ski or snowboard for beginners.
Everybody else must have a valid ski-lifts pass
Ski-lifts passes are not included in the courses price.

How can I go to the meeting points of the ESF? 

There are free shuttles in the resort. 
One stop is at the feet of the Chalet des Castors, from there , you can go to the meeting point mentioned on your course card; this stop is valid for the piou piou, ourson, flocon, 1*, 2*, private lessons courses.
Another stop is at the feet of the cable car Les Pélerins , from there you can go to the meeting point mentioned on your course card, this stop is valid for 3*, bronze star, gold star, competitive skiing, freestyle, teens/adults, snowboarding, and high level private lessons.

What is the maximum number of people per course? 

- Group Courses alpine skiing for kids: 12 people.
- Group Courses teens/adults: 10 people.
- Group Courses snowboarding: 10 people.
- Private courses: 1 to 4 people of the same level.
- Private group courses: 6 people of the same level.

The ESF Les Angles tries its best to downsize the number of people per course to provide you with the best possible teaching.

What language do the instructors speak? 

Group courses are in French; nevertheless the instructor can translate for foreigners in English, Spanish or Catalan.
Private lessons are held in whichever of the four previous languages you want.

I’d like to book courses for less than 6 days ! 

You can’t do it online.
This type of booking must be made by phone according to the availability at the ESF. You should get more information from our hostesses. 

Can kids and adults from the same family attend the same course ? 

No
People must have roughly the same level and educational methods are not the same for kids and adults

I will arrive at the resort after the beginning of the group courses, what course must I join? 

We don’t accept anymore new students in some group courses Tuesday onwards and we will propose you private lessons.
About group courses for kids, feel free to ask the hostesses how to sort this out. They will usually propose your kid a group course according to availability.
