Your kids will be learning to ski with ESF instructors. Becoming a champion by the end of the week must not be their only goal!
From the age of 3 onwards, the Piou-Piou Club offers a gentle introduction to the snow (sledging, snowshoeing, skiing...) in a special and safe environment.
For their welfare , we suggest that you
- gather all the information you need from our staff when you book.
- don't force your kid to ski if he doesn't want to, but rather encourage him to follow an introductory lesson at the beginning of the week (Sunday or Monday).
- don't lie about your kid's age (doing so may lead to his exclusion).
- provide him with warm clothing: hat, mittens, sunglasses or goggles, handkerchiefs, sun cream and snacks.
- ensure your kid has his lesson card, ski-lifts pass (5 years old onwards) and your contact details.
- get on time at the right place.
- don't follow or call out to your kid during the lessons.
- encourage your kid to ask to go to the toilet whenever necessary.
- leave instructors to decide when to move your kid up a level. They are trained to know when it is the right time to do so. You can trust their experience and professionalism.
Helmets are recommended and snowboard specific protection gear is obligatory.
